The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DS-GVO. Our legitimate interest is to display the website to you, to provide necessary functionalities and to ensure the stability and security of our systems. The collection of these data categories is technically necessary for this. The storage period is 6 weeks.

6. Use of service providers for the provision of the website

To provide the website, we use service providers who process personal data on our behalf or through whom access to personal data cannot be excluded. We have concluded contracts with these service providers for commissioned processing in accordance with Art. 28 DS-GVO. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) lit. f DS-GVO. These are our hosting provider and the technical support provider. These service providers are based within a country of the European Union or the European Economic Area.


7. Your application via the application form

On our careers portal you will find job advertisements that are advertised for the UKA group of companies (see section 2) as well as the option of making a speculative application (both application options are referred to below as the "application form").
 
The personal data you provide to us via the application form will be received by UKA Umweltgerechte Kraftanlagen GmbH & Co. KG and either processed itself (if you apply to UKA Umweltgerechte Kraftanlagen GmbH & Co. KG) or forwarded to the company responsible accordingly. In this case, UKA Umweltgerechte Kraftanlagen GmbH & Co. KG acts as a processor pursuant to Art. 28 DS-GVO for the other companies. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO. The personnel department of UKA Umweltgerechte Kraftanlagen GmbH & Co. KG is entrusted with all human resources tasks of the UKA group of companies, as only in this way can human resources tasks be carried out effectively, which is the legitimate interest of the respective responsible company.
 
In order to prepare and carry out our application process, we regularly process the following categories of personal data of our applicants:
  • Personnel master data (surname, first name, title and name affix if applicable, address, nationality);
  • personal data (e.g. education, schooling or parenthood);
  • Contact data (e.g. telephone numbers or email adress
  • Provisional contract data (e.g. intended entry and exit dates, intended company functions, working hours, type and place of employment, type and amount of remuneration, ancillary activities, holiday entitlements);
  • Information on previous employment and performance records (e.g. performance appraisals, references, further training, promotions, certificates).
The specific scope of processing depends in each case on the information you provide to us. In particular, the personal data is taken from your cover letter, curriculum vitae and the enclosures attached to your application. In individual cases, special categories of personal data (Art. 9 DSGVO) such as health data (e.g. the degree of a disability) or religious data (e.g. the denomination of the applicant) may also be collected.
 
The processing is carried out exclusively for the following purposes:
  • To initiate and establish the employment relationship in accordance with § 26 BDSG and
  • to contact you should you be considered for an alternative position.
If we are unable to make you a job offer, if you reject a job offer or withdraw your application, we reserve the right to retain the data you have provided on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO) for up to 6 months from the end of the application process (rejection or withdrawal of the application). After that, the data will be deleted. This storage serves in particular as evidence in the event of a legal dispute.
 
Longer storage may take place if you have given your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a DS-GVO), e.g. in the case of inclusion in our talent pool (see section 8) or if legal storage obligations prevent deletion.


8. if your application can be positively considered for other vacancies
Due to the large number of vacancies as well as the wide range of job opportunities for each applicant, it may be possible that your application can be positively considered for other vacancies as well, instead of just the one position you applied for. If this is of interest to you, we may forward your application internally to the appropriate department.
You can make this selection in the field "I agree that my application will also be considered for other vacant positions", thus informing us of your wish. If you leave the field blank, you will be deemed not to have given your consent. In this case, we will contact you if the need arises.
Your application will be forwarded to another department in accordance with your consent.
(Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DS-GVO), which you can revoke at any time. For this purpose, a short e-mail to the data protection officer of the responsible company is sufficient. You will find this contact in point 2 of this data protection information.
The validity of your consent is based on the duration of the application process. This can be up to 3 months in individual cases. Your declaration of consent will be stored for three years after deletion of your application documents pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. f DS-GVO in conjunction with. § 195 BGB (German Civil Code). We have a legitimate interest in being able to prove your consent in the event of a dispute.


9. talent pool
If you so wish and your application fits our job profiles, we will include you in our talent pool. If such inclusion takes place, we will inform you separately. We will then store your application documents for a period of 12 months. If you revoke your consent, we will delete your application documents immediately.
The legal basis for this is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. a DS-GVO.
Your declaration of consent will be stored for three years after deletion of your application documents for evidence purposes until the end of the limitation period (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO). We have a legitimate interest in being able to prove your consent in the event of a dispute.


10. contact option by e-mail
If you contact us by e-mail, your e-mail including the contact data you provided will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your request. The legal basis for the processing of this data is Art. 6 para. 1 p.1 lit. b DS-GVO, if your request is aimed at concluding a contract with us. Otherwise, the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p.1 lit. f DS-GVO, because we have a legitimate interest in answering your inquiry and possibly recruiting you as an employee. Your data will be deleted after processing has been completed, provided that there are no legal retention obligations to the contrary.


11. new job offers via job alert
Provided you give your consent, you will be automatically notified by e-mail via the Job Alert function as soon as we offer a new job that matches your search specifications. For the registration to Job-Alert we use the so-called double-opt-in procedure. This means that after your registration we will send you an e-mail to the e-mail address you provided, in which we ask you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. If you do not confirm your registration, your information will be automatically deleted after 7 days. After your confirmation, we store your e-mail address for the purpose of sending the newsletter and until revoked. The legal basis for sending the respective newsletter with new job offers is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. a DS-GVO.
We also store your IP address at the time of registration, the time of registration and confirmation for a period of up to three years after registration. This serves the purpose of proving your registration in case of doubt and, if necessary, to be able to clarify any misuse of your personal data. The legal basis for logging the registration is our legitimate interest according to Art. 6 para. 1 p.1 lit. f DS-GVO.
You can revoke your consent to receive the Job Alert at any time. To do so, you can click on the revocation link provided in each email.


12. applying with finest-jobs
If you have a profile with finest-jobs, you can use it to apply for a job with us. In this case, those data that you have stored in your finest-jobs profile will be transferred directly from finest-jobs to us.
The portal "finest-jobs" is provided by rexx System GmbH. We have no influence on the processing that takes place on finest-jobs. Details on data processing can be obtained from the provider rexx systems GmbH https://www.finest-jobs.com.

Right to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO
Insofar as we base the processing of your personal data on our legitimate interest, you may object to this processing.
