Let's work together to successfully realise the energy transition. To this end, we are looking for a (Senior) Analyst Energy Industry (m/f/d).
Your tasks are:
- Preparing, developing and presenting regular internal reports on market and competitive developments, including recommendations for action to management
- Monitoring and analysing global energy, commodity, banking and investor markets
- Carrying out market analyses in selected countries with a focus on assessing the potential for the development of renewable energy projects
- Developing and implementing market entry strategies for international markets and business areas
- Further development of internal dashboards and reporting tools
- Maintaining and further developing UKA's internal databases and regularly analysing external databases and sources
- Continuous dialogue with the specialist groups and foreign company locations and provision of requested information and analyses
You should optionally fulfil these requirements:
- successfully completed studies with a focus on the energy industry and/or relevant professional experience in the energy industry
- experience in the analysis of energy markets, especially electricity markets, is welcome; knowledge of electricity market modelling is an advantage
- confident handling of MS Office software, programming skills are also an advantage
- strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Independent, structured and solution-orientated way of working
- Very good team and communication skills
- Good German and English skills, advanced knowledge of a Romance or Slavic language is an advantage
